For all you current 3DS owners here, do you experience headaches or other woozynesses while playing it? If so, how long until you start getting these feelings?

I'm just curious because I see all these reports of people getting sick from the 3DS.

There once was a man named SMF. Then he went away, then came back, then away again. Who knows what crazy stuff is in his head?

In 3D mode yes. It takes up alot of focus in your eyes to get the 3D image.

I find that my eyes start to ache a little (although nothing debilitating) after about 10-30 minutes, but then after about 30mins more play, they're fine again, having gotten used to the 3D.
Although for the problem is probably compounded by the fact that since i'm short-sighted in one eye, i have to wear my glasses to get the full 3D effect. But i don't wear them at all in every day life, so my eyes are not used to them. This means that when i start playing, my eyes have to get used to both the glasses and the 3D screen.

This has been proven to only happen if you do not have the slider adjusted correctly or holding it in a good position. If you do it right, you will not have any pain at all.

Yes, the 3DS does give me headaches.... because I banged my head on the desk out of frustration because I couldn't take the wait for more games to be released <____<

OK, seriously, funnily enough, it doesn't affect me badly at all. Well, I can do a full course of Ridge Racer with full 3D, and I haven't felt dizzzzzzzzzz *vomits*

I didn't have headache playing 3D but when I am tired or sleepy, I try not to use the 3DS.

It strains my eyes a little and it gets pretty bad after around 15 minutes, but that's because I'm either holding it at the wrong distance or not using the slider on it.

Meh, as soon as my eyes start hurting I turn the 3D effect off completely.

Wow, so many people experience problems?
I have no issues with it at all, and I've played it a tonne (25 hours in a week so far) in 3D only. It took maybe 30 minutes for me to get used to the 3D to begin with, and to get the hang of where to hold the DS in front of me. Since then I haven't experienced any kind of strain.
Maybe I have superior eyes...

Actually, most of us don't have any issues with the 3D but many people claims that 3D gives them headaches, dizzy, etc in the internet.

Remember that Optician Association saying the 3DS could be used to diagnose eye problems? Anyone else think that headaches/dizzyness is one of the signs? I'm noticing it's mainly people with glasses or contact lenses that are having the issue.

I get my info from Nintendo3DS-Games.co.uk and you should too :)

It might be true that certain people who wear glasses and contact lenses are having problems with 3D image. However, I myself also wear glasses and I don't have problems with 3D, even though one of my eyesight is really bad.

I guess when I get my 3DS, i'll have to find the "Sweet Spot" in order to make most of the 3D effect for the most time before my head starts hurting.

Actually my sister were trying my 3DS and she told me that the image is very blur, while to me the image is very clear. She can only see 3DS image if she put the 3DS near to her eyes.

It seems that to certain people with eyesight problem will have to adjust the 3DS before they can see clear image of it. But I am not sure why I can see the 3D with no problem whatsoever considering that I have a bad eyesight as well...

The image should never be blurry, even if you can't get the 3D. It should only ever be double.
If you're sister is actually getting a blurry image, might i suggest it's her eyes?

Yes, I think it's because of her eyes. She tried to look at the 3DS closer and it became clearer.

I always thought that my eyes is worse than hers because normally I can't see people face clearly from quite a close distance that normal eyes can (Maybe between 5-15m).
